the media room (Leighton was ECSTATIC because we had the Alabama logo AND the AT&T logo)
then there was the field.....OH. MY. WORD. The EXCITEMENT! Here are several pictures, but what I did NOT capture on film is the time we spent ON THE ACTUAL FIELD. The boys were beside themselves, and I just was overcome with the moment...alas, no pictures...but I do have these.....
After our tour, we were able to stop by and see the newly renovated Foster Auditorium which was cool. Then we made our way to Coleman Coliseum to watch the Tide whip up on Mississippi. After that we had dinner and stayed in a hotel....I wish you could appreciate our staying in a hotel. Logan was BEYOND EXCITED...to the point where people might have suspected that maybe we had never actually been to a hotel. But we have. More than once. Anyway, the next morning was full of relaxation, a trip to the Bryant Museum and so much fun on the Quad. It was a GORGEOUS day!
I had to take the picture below because when we came out of the museum, we had a perfect view of the Coliseum. When I commented on this fact and stopped to take a picture, Leighton asked, "Why do they call it the Old Man Coliseum?" I almost wet my pants....."It is Coleman baby, not Old Man"....he cracks me up!
Before we could even get everyone buckled up, they were OUT! See evidence below!
We had a wonderful time. We even got to see Aunt Laurie which is always a treat! All in all, it was one of the best Valentine's Day celebrations ever....me with all my loves!
